How To Start

We’ve all heard the comments, ''it's easy, just do it'', ''it's not that hard'', or the ever so famous ''you worry too much'', but how do we start when the idea of beginning something new is daunting?

We are all human after all. Fear of being rejected is a universal feeling - if it wasn't then we wouldn't have so many angsty teen movies that show someone eating lunch in a bathroom stall. Sometimes we have people in our life that can help us when the road gets rocky, those people might be friends, family, or a pet (who let's face it - IS family). Others may not have that person in their life - or maybe they had that person, but lost them. Various therapies are fantastic resources during difficult times in life - but are not always available or affordable when you need them. That is why Newly Found Friends began.

Now I know what you may be thinking, ''there are tons of chat rooms and profiles online, why would I want to pay for a friend?'' The simple answer is - safety and security. All good friendships are built on trust and honesty. We use encrypted lines of communication and offer anonymous services so that everyone is comfortable and secure.

This brings us back to the title of this blog post - How To Start. The good news is - you already have.

By just clicking this blog and reading it, you have already explored something inside of you that wants to take the next step. When you are ready, we will be here to help you and answer any questions that you may have with no strings attached. The first step is often the hardest - let us make it a little easier.

Email or message me to see how you can meet your next friend and leave the bathroom stalls in the movies.
